What is ROK TV?
ROK TV allows you to watch Television on your mobile phone.

Which Mobile Operators does ROK TV run on?
ROK TV currently works over Cingular and T-Mobile's networks. We will be announcing support for other Mobile Operators in the near future.

Will ROK TV work on my mobile phone model?
Yes, as long as you have a compatible phone. For the latest list of compatible phones, click on the Download ROK TV link above. We are constantly expanding ROK TV support for the latest popular media-capable phones, so if yours isn't listed, please check back soon.

OK I have ROK TV on my computer, now what?
Now you must send the software files to your phone in the correct numerical order. Your mobile phone will be able to connect to your computer in a variety of ways, either through a data cable that came with the phone, Bluetooth or infra-red. For more information on how to do this, contact your Mobile Network Provider, Handset Manufacturer or User Manual.

My phone says that I have no connection via GRPS, what does this mean?
Each phone has different procedures and capabilities, to setup your phone for GPRS contact your Mobile Network Provider.

How much does ROK TV cost?
The channels in ROK TV's Standard Channel offering are only $.99 per channel, per month. ROK TV does not include the data transmission charges by your network operator. If you do not have an unlimited data package (required for web surfing, downloads and streaming media) ROK TV recommends you contact your network provider to arrange this and/or check the data package you are currently on so you are aware of the data costs your network provider will charge. ROK TV uses approximately 1mb for 4 minutes of viewing.

What kind of data package should I get?
We highly recommend you get an "unlimited data plan" that lets you use as much data as you wish for a flat rate each month. These plans range in price between Mobile Operators.

I have set up a user account. How do I watch TV?
Follow the instructions on the ROK TV email that was sent to the address you provided when you set up your account. If you have any problems, login on the ROK TV website using your username and password and then select the troubleshooting link from the "My Account" page.

I have forgotten my password.

Common Error Messages

Below are the most common error messages and how to resolve them. Please ensure that you are following the steps carefully before contacting our customer service team.

Signal problem, please try again...

There has been a problem when updating your channels. This problem can be resolved by going to ROK TV from your mobile phone's Main Menu and then selecting Options and Update Channels. A Green checkmark will appear when this is successful, if not, repeat the process.

C Sockets Time Out

This is usually because of low signal strength or problems with your network while your phone is trying to pickup the TV signal. Try restarting your phone or waiting until your signal strength improves.
